Foundation
Akademischer Lexikadienst in Münster was present in the market for 50 years. The primary focus of its work was the distribution of reference works and specialized lexicons in German, English, and French.
Bibliotheca Rara
In 1990, something that had long been a true passion was added: facsimile art for masterpieces of manuscript illumination under the name Bibliotheca Rara.
Online Distribution
The brick-and-mortar store on Rosenstraße in Münster became history in 2020—albeit a very fond memory. In early 2019, the course was set for international online distribution in cooperation with Abebooks.com. Since then, we have received orders from customers around the world, and thanks to careful and conscientious packaging, our facsimile editions arrive safely on the other side of the globe.
